Your first holistic therapy visit

A first session is easier to arrange when you know what to ask. Use this guide to compare practices and contact a practitioner with the details that matter to you.

Start with what you are looking for

Think about the type of session you would like, where you can travel and whether you prefer an online or in-person appointment. Browse the directory by county or therapy, then open a practitioner's full profile.

Questions to ask before you book

What does a first session involve, and how long does it last? Is there anything I should bring or prepare?

What is the current price, what does it include, and what is your cancellation policy?

What training, qualifications, professional memberships and insurance do you hold? Can you explain how your approach relates to what I am looking for?

Where is the session held? Is it accessible for my needs? What languages are offered, and are online sessions or home visits available?

Choose a practice you feel comfortable contacting

A clear explanation, straightforward fees and space for questions help you decide whether to book. You can ask about consent, privacy and how a practitioner adapts a session to your preferences.

Check the details directly

Profiles contain information supplied by practitioners. Holistic Ireland does not independently verify credentials, manage appointments or take payments for practitioners. Confirm availability, prices and arrangements with the practice before booking.

Keep a shortlist

Use Save practice in the directory to keep useful profiles on this browser. Open Saved practices when you return, then contact the practices you would like to compare.
